Job Dictionary began with a visionary idea: a literal dictionary of jobs, created to help people discover dream jobs they may not have known existed yet.
At the time, the vision was clear, but the content presence was still waiting to be built. There was no podcast, no YouTube channel, no Instagram or LinkedIn rhythm, and no full content system in place yet.
We had the opportunity to support the project from its earliest stages, helping shape the content foundation across podcast, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, and Pinterest. From strategy and creative direction to production, publishing, and repurposing, the work was about building the rhythms, assets, and systems that allowed Job Dictionary to show up consistently.
Every platform, post, and episode started small. But over time, those pieces became a content engine that helped carry a visionary idea into real, lasting impact.

What Steady Building Can Make Possible
Over eight months, Job Dictionary’s content presence began to take shape across every channel.
LinkedIn grew from 30 to 385 followers — a 1,183% increase. Instagram more than tripled. And the podcast, launched from the ground up across YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts, reached over 50,000 total views and streams.
For a brand-new podcast, that kind of traction mattered.
But the numbers were not just about growth. They showed that people were finding the work, engaging with the message, and discovering career paths they may not have known existed before.
In December 2024, Job Dictionary paused active operations, but the work did not disappear.
The platform is still live. The podcast episodes are still available. And people are still finding them today.

The blog posts, the complex social media management, and even the product design behind this company — so much of it was thanks to her. If you are hesitant to hire her, just give her a task, and she'll show you.

Kelsey Kemp, Founder
This is the part of Job Dictionary’s story that makes it different from anything else in our portfolio.
The vision belonged to Kelsey. She saw the need for a platform that could help people discover dream jobs they did not even know existed yet. Our role was to help that vision become visible through content — by supporting the strategy, editing the podcast, preparing episodes for YouTube, creating short-form clips, designing social graphics, writing captions, publishing across platforms, and helping maintain the rhythm that kept the message showing up consistently.
Even after active production paused, the content continued to serve people.
No new episodes have been published since. The team has stepped back from day-to-day operations. And yet, people are still watching, still commenting, and still being helped by the work.
That is not something a good launch alone can create.
It is what happens when a strong founder vision is supported by content built to genuinely help people — not just perform in the moment it goes live.
Built for more than the launch.

Career research, made easier to explore.
Over 110+ Blog Posts Carefully Written
One of the most meaningful pieces of Job Dictionary that we helped work with was its blog library: over 110 posts created to help people understand jobs they may not have known existed yet.
Kelsey’s vision was to make career discovery feel less overwhelming and more accessible. Our role was to support that vision by carefully researching, writing, and structuring each post around real career paths, lifestyle filters, education requirements, income insights, job outlook, and the honest realities of each role.
Each post was built to be easy to skim, but still genuinely helpful — giving readers bite-sized information they could use to explore what might fit their skills, interests, and season of life.
Blog writing is not a standing Studio Merisse service, but this work reflects the heart of how we approach content: not just to fill a platform, but to help the right people find clarity.
